The Department of Justice explains real estate?

October 11th, 2007

It’s been said that the epi-center of real estate blogging is in Phoenix AZ, or perhaps it’s just AZ, regardless I can’t argue, although I’d like to. I do know that it is not in Dayton. One of the best RE bloggers in the country is a Realtor in Phoenix who calls himself- are you ready- The Phoenix Real Estate Guy, brilliant branding isn’t it? He’s a fantastic blogger, a genuinely good guy, and next time I’m in Phoenix, Jay Thompson is on my list to call.

Today I’m thanking him for paying attention to the news. I’ve been out of town the last few days and trying to catch up. Jay made it easier for me by posting about the Department of Justice and a new educational real estate site they have launched. You can read Jay’s intelligent take on it here.

The DOJ Competition and Real Estate website is here. There is some information you may find interesting, at the very least it’s educational, and that’s a good thing.

Thanks Jay!

Well thanks for the too kind words Teri! You’re making me blush.

And you *better* call if you make it out this way!

Phoenix may be be the epi-center of RE blogging, but The BrickRanch is the epicenter of Dayton, and one of the best local blogs on the planet.

Alright Jay, enough of the mutual admiration society.

There’s no “if” about making it out that way. My husband loves Phoenix, I love Tucson, we haven’t been to AZ in a few years so we are well past due. And now that I “know” so many bloggers in AZ, we must go- sooner hopefully than later.

Teri, Thanks for the compliment over on the Bloodhound. You have an excellent site here.

I am in the White Mountains of AZ and have searched for other blogs, and just like when you started out, I can’t seem to find any active blogs in this area. I’m trying to spark interest but a lot of people just don’t think they have the time to set a blog up, or keep it up. I have an Idea, - gotta’ go write a new post.

Also, you’re right about Jay, I read him every day. He’s just good people.

Howdy Scoot! Thanks for stopping by.

Be careful Scoot, we don’t want to make Jay blush again.

Dayton blogs grow in number by the week, so don’t give up hope. We had a few non-political blogs in Dayton that were/are very supportive when I started. But you know how that is, bloggers tend to support each other, even when we disagree.

Best of luck to you- keep looking for the local blogs, they will be there soon.
